Scope of this policy

This policy explains what data the Crypto Analyst VT app processes, for which purposes, on what legal bases, how long data is kept, to whom it may be disclosed, and what rights you have.

What data we process

• Technical data for core features: network requests to market/analytics APIs to load quotes and charts. Providers may process your IP address for routing and rate-limiting.
• On-device computations: indicators (e.g., RSI, MA) are calculated locally on your device.
• Push notifications (optional): if enabled, we use a device messaging token to deliver notifications. The token is a technical identifier and does not directly identify you.
• Translation (optional): language packs may be downloaded when you use translation features.
• Third-party web content in WebView: if embedded widgets/sites are shown, those parties may process session technical data and set their own cookies under their policies.
• Crash/diagnostic logs (optional): if you opt in, we may receive technical diagnostics to improve stability.
• Accounts: the app does not create user accounts and does not store personal profiles.

Purposes of processing

• Providing core app functionality (quotes, charts, analytics).
• Sending optional notifications if you enable them.
• Improving stability and quality (crash diagnostics — only with your consent).

Legal bases (GDPR)

• Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract: technical processing necessary to run the app.
• Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention, basic performance analytics where necessary and proportionate.
• Art. 6(1)(a) — consent: push notifications, crash reports, and specific third-party modules — only if you explicitly enable them.

Retention

Technical data is kept only as long as needed to provide features and ensure security. Notification tokens are kept while notifications remain enabled or until you disable them or reinstall the app. Crash logs are retained according to the respective provider’s settings.

Recipients and processors

Infrastructure and SDK providers necessary to deliver app features (messaging, language models, market data or widgets). We do not sell your personal data.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some processing may involve transfers to countries outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) as described in the relevant providers’ policies.

Your rights

• Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability.
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdrawal of consent at any time (does not affect processing already carried out).
• Complaint to your national data protection authority in the EU.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 16 and does not knowingly process children’s data.
